Voice your opinion for the TSR2
Teen Summer Reading Program for 2009!

The kid's summer reading theme is Read for the Stars. What do you think about having some outer space or celebrity themed programs at your library for the teen summer reading program?

What types of events would you go to this summer at the library? (select all that you like)

Last year, you needed to read at least 2 books, magazines or graphic novels. Most teens blogged that they thought that was too simple. How many books should a teen read to claim a prize?

Which of the 5 activities should we keep for the 2009 TSR program? Choose all that apply.

For a grand prize, would you rather have 1 person win a super grand prize, or 1 person at every library win an invitation for themselves and a friend to an exclusive party.

Did your teacher assign you certain books to read during the summer of 2008?

Which of the following would you do to help promote the Teen Summer Reading program this year? Select all that apply.

Would you be willing or able to attend a Saturday meeting in April at the Main Library to plan and receive promotional materials.

I like the program but I think there should be more reading involved and more challenging activities but still it's good.

I love TSR has you read two books and help people out! You can brighten up librarians day, and also help little kids with their reading! How awesome is that?!

I think you should have to read more books, but the activities are AWESOME! They should make next year's TSR like this year's!
I've read a lot of books this summer, like Raising Dragons, Fat Chance, Aquamarine, Flight to Freedom, Artemis Fowl and more!
IF YOU HAVEN'T READ
WALK TWO MOONS BY
SHARON CREECH, YOU
SHOULD. IT IS SO GOOD!

I find that the Teen Summer Reading has amazing amazing effects on the student mind. The number of students that are participating has increased by 32.783454745%. That means that every 3 kids out of 5 are participating in the wonderful program provided by the Middletown library. Phenomenal, isn't it?!

I've read three books so far They are:
The princess and the pauper
The clique summer collection: alicia
Rhymes with witches

I just started the nannies and i really like it!

I think it is kind of weird that we have to attend a program at a library

I also think that it shold be more focused on reading the books than doing activities with the books

Dear MiNtGrEeNcOuTuRe101:

You don't HAVE to attend a teen program, you only have to do 5 of those 11 activities (one of which is attend a teen program.

I am so GLAD you are reading so many books this summer!! ~Lisa, from Teen Services
